Susie D replied: "Acne is an autonomic neuropathy - the cause of most common health problems. An autonomic neuroapthy begins with a weak autonomic neuron that is easily stimulated even by trace amounts of strong stimulants. Poisons are some of the strongest stimulants. This would explain why I've seen acne clear up dramatically by avoiding non-organic milk / dairy products, and non-organic wheat. Why only wheat and dairy I don't know. Dairy was by far the worst trigger. It may have something to do with bovine hormones in the cows milk. Bovine hormones stimulate a cow's autonomic neurons to stimulate the growth of more udder cells to increase the cow's milk producing cycle, which probably also involves changing the cows hormones. If it changes human hormones too, then acne could result.
Assuming that insecticides used on corps are a factor, as they seem to be because organic milk and wheat were not a problem, my best guess is that certain crops are treated with specific insecticides. Which would lead me to conclude that those insecticides tend to stimulate neurons that in turn change hormone levels or increase oil secretions in the skin, at least in some people. Milk and its derivatives are in just about all processed foods. Thus a whole food organic diet is a good treatment.
The improvement I saw was lasting. Unfortunately, this person now needs to take drugs for a serious health problem and the drug contains non-organic lactose (from milk) as a drug filler, and the acne came back as soon as she started the medicine. Imagine, drugs contain pesticides. How irresponsible is that? Pesticides affect the nervous system whether we know it or not. Drs have all kinds of explanations for acne, but they aren't the cause. Weak (frail or injured) neurons are the vulnerability and poisons are the cause. Neurons can be genetically weak, and it's weak neurons that are most sensitive to even trace amounts of insect killers in food. Here is the whole food diet.
Whole food organic diet - use all organic ingredients
Fresh fruit and vegetables. Eat a banana or drink organic O.J. every day for potassium for nervous system health. Whole milk only. Eggs. Butter (salted only). Orange juice (no calcium citrate or lactate). Spring water for drinking / cooking / diluting whole milk - if desired. Popcorn (unflavored, but add butter after it's popped). Unbleached wheat flour (occasionally for waffles). Olive oil (use for salad dressing with salt). Pickling salt (or salt with no additives). Agave nectar sweetener (like pancake syrup). NOW brand calcium carbonate powdered - sold on Amazon or in health food stores - a calcium supp that's from mineral thus organic. It's tasteless and can be added to any drink. Can have canned small fish fillets in spring water. Dried peas or beans for soup. Organic meat, ocean caught fish, or organic hot dogs - will not be fully organic.
Add more organic foods as time goes on, but watch out for organic processed foods. Most are never fully organic. To date, they are not required to be. Nature's Path makes a corn flake that is just corn and fruit juice, but even corn meal is soaked in water before processing, and the water is not spring water. But it can't hurt to try a product. Organic milk may soon be offered in school lunch rooms. We can only hope.
Use only Aleve (non-gelcaps) for pain. They are easy on the nervous system and don't contain milk, corn, wheat or gelatin - all of which are non-organic drug fillers. Probably why Aleve works better than other pain relievers. Everything else contains insect and weed killer and or bovine hormones. You might consider having blood work done to see if you have appropriate balance in hormones. An imbalance is a neuropathy too and easily a side effect from pesticide ingestion. That's not what Drs will say. They'll say the reason is unknown - because studies are only done on people who eat non-organic food. They should know better, if they've had biology, or even seventh grade life science. Good luck what ever you try. I hope it works out well for you."
huy replied: "There is this new popular cream that people have been talking about.
It was even televised on TV.
It prevents future and existing acne, diminishes scars, and lightens skin and blemishes. Fast results too! (It has been claimed that major results can be seen within a week and no later than two weeks)
Before and After photos are available at the given ebay site.
This person is providing 1-3 week trial samples (Only for ONE DOLLAR.. definitely a deal) on ebay at:
Search up "best acne solution ever" on ebay.
First 100 customers can get the item for $1 for one week trial and up to 3 weeks. Or you can buy the whole container for $160
It's expensive, but the product DOES work.
My sister and cousin who both have major acne have tried the product and they both give it thumbs up. I have also heard many great feedbacks about this cream.
I don't have a problem with acne, but it seems to have great results on my sister who has moderate to severe acne. Her acne swelling went away overnight.
I hope this helps. =)"
Should I get proactive or acne-free? I don't care about prices i just want to know which one works better. Also, if you stop using them will you break out? even if you've used it for a long time? So you have to use them forever and ever?
princess_hannah059 replied: "Acne Free, I use it and it works the same as ProActive and it's cheaper. And no you don't have to use them forever, just in your teenage years when you'll probably break out a lot. After that, you probably won't break out that much anymore so it won't really be a problem."
beachbabe00123 replied: "wow this is the perfect question 4 me to answer, i use proactive and it woks like magic no lie, u should use it 2 times a day 4 like the first 2 months and then after that i use it once every day sometimes every 2 days and i have nice smooth clear skin i love it!!"
malikfouze replied: "dont buy any

it worked fo me"
hottie dancer babe replied: "proactive but actually differin works well to"
johnnydeppluvaa replied: "Proactive for sure. Not only does it work, but it works fast!!!! It is also the laeding acne medication in America. If you wanna see clearer skin fast, get proactive."
san_ann68 replied: "acne free, you dont have to wait for it to be delivered"
Sara replied: "I'm 26 and still have problematic skin. I starting using Proactiv and it cleared up my skin. I have no experience with acne-free, so I can't tell which is better. I'm sure it depends on the person..."
junkme replied: "I've used ProActiv for a few months, and it didn't work at all. I ended up having more breakouts and none of my existing ones were cured at all. It's also too pricey to stick to it, I'm not sure about the breaking out when you stop using, but I've heard people complaning about that though.
If you're suffering from acne and has not recovered despite trying several off-the-counter products, I STRONGLY suggest you to visit your nearest dermatologist. Only he/she can help you. Don't waste your money investing on those products because it just won't cure it, it can only improve skin that has been cured from acne."
fabulousjoshie05 replied: "I Say Use Clinique's Acne Solutions it's salicylic acid is coated differently than most treatments. It is formulated so It won't dry the skin out. The 2 products I would get is Acne Foam and Emergency Gel. Emergency Gel has 5% Benzoyl Peroxide where as proactive just has 2%. If it is serious just day time and night time gel. But as far as using something forever once the acne is treated I would use Clinique's 3-Step system. It's just a good cleansing system which prevents further breakout and keeps skin looking and feeling great!"
Tara T replied: "If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.
Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:"
What is the best acne treatment? The price doesnt matter.? Do not tell me epiclear or proactive because i already used those before. Thank you.
Berky replied: "acnezine!!! nothing you put on your skin will get rid of acne. it may help with existing belimishes but they will keep coming. acnezine is a herbal supplement that basically detoxes your liver and creates healthy skin. check out the website for more info. a healthy balanced diet and plenty of water is also essentail to clear skin... your skin may get worse at first as your body gets rid of built of toxins then after a month or so it should start clearing. you dont have to use this product for the rest of your life either!! check it out!"
IAN replied: "acutane you need a perscription, its sort of a last ditch effort after they try antibiotics but it really really works. Also try taking zinc"
Madelinetjai replied: "To get rid of acne. Try a gentle cleanser. One that is glycerin or sorbitol based will be good and it does not need to be expensive. Cetaphil and Neutrogena has some pretty good ones. Try Cetaphil® Gentle Skin Cleanser.
Proactiv works for some people it clears up for a while but acne may come back. It is also very harsh on your skin and may dry it all up, definitely not for people with sensitive skin. My friend said it corroded and bleached her metal sink so if it can do that to the sink, think of what it is doing to your face. So Proactiv is a no no.
Wash your face at least twice a day and everytime after you perspire. If your skin is the oily kind, you do not need to apply any moisturizer, your skin oils are enough to keep it hydrated. If you really must apply a gentle light oil free one. Cetaphil® Daily Facial Moisturizer SPF 15 or Cetaphil® Moisturizing Lotion is quite good
Apply pimple cream to the acne area. Try benzoyl peroxide low strength(2.5%) first. You can try oxy, panoxyl or Neutrogena brands. Don't pick poke scrub or pop your pimples unless you want scars which are really ugly. Scrubbing cleansers or washes are also no-nos because it equals picking and poking and makes acne worse Treated pimples gently.
Eat healthy. Make sure you drink plenty of water. Cut down on sugar and carb intake. Foods like chocolates, coffee, soda drinks, bread, rice potatoes or anything starchy and sugary are no-nos. Cut down on oily and fried foods also. Go for grilled, steamed or baked food. Make sure you eat lots of fruits and vegetables. Ensure that your diet is rich in vitamin A, C, E and Omega-3 which are important for the skin. Less stress and sleeping enough is also important. Not having enough sleep is like putting stress on your body. Makes sure you sleep at least 8 hours a day.
If you are a smoker. Try to quit. Smoking causes a lot of damage to your skin because it introduces toxins to it. These toxins can clog the pores or make the skin harder to breathe and that’s when the acne bacteria set in. The toxins also cause longer healing of the acne as well as the marks and scars left behind by acne.
If all else fails and your acne is still very bad, it is time to see a dermatologist. The pills and medications do work but you may have to take them long term to suppress the acne as it is not a cure and acne is a chronic disease. However the pills are not miracles and you won’t see results in 2-3 days. It normally takes about 2 weeks to see the difference. However not all dermatologists prescribe pills unless your acne is really bad. The pills will include antibiotics, accutane and contraceptives. If your acne isn’t that bad, dermatologists will prescribe topical creams first. If you are really going to a dermatologist, I suggest asking about a product known as Retin-A that treats acne and acne marks and heals the scars."
Amy replied: "I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!
Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:
1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.
2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.
I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn’t use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured…if we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don’t want us to know.
There is a great website:
that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me."
