snoopy replied: "i wouldn't go out and spend your wallet right away, as products cost so expensive and also it doesn't work instantly. well, if you have pimples pop them and put vitamin e cream on it, or savlon to not get infected. also do the same with whiteheads and blackheads. if you have red blemishes try honey smeared overnight. and if you have huge individual pimples then try smearing toothpaste on the head of the pimple. for this, do not use gel or whitening toothpaste. only the paste works. if you dont like honey to be smeared on your face then tomato pulp works just as well, and its as natural. good luck. drink loads of water and avoid deep fried or oily foods aswell while you are at it."

Can i use rubbing alcohol on my face to zap or treat a small case of acne? would it hurt my face or mess up my face up or will it treat small case of acne?

Louise 3 ♥ :) replied: "Ouch No!!!!! Dont do it, that will irritate your skin so much and it will hurt like hell! Just use warm water and a sensitive soap twice daily. Remember to close your pores with cold water afterwards and apply a light moisturizer. :)"

Masami Chou replied: "rubbing alcohol would be fine to use for cleaning the area. You don't want to put it all over your face though, just on the pimple. It will clean it and get rid of all the germs letting it heal faster. After you clean it it would help to put some kind of ointment like neosporin on it, that will help it heal also. I had huge acne problem then I watched my fiance... he just washes his face in the shower with a reg bar of soap and then rubs on lotion afterwards. skillzdatkillzz420 replied: "It won't hurt your face, but it won't help your acne either. The best way to treat a small case of acne is with a product that contains 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide or more. For instance, Proactiv's on the Spot Treatment is 6% Benzoyl Peroxide and it got rid of one of my pimples overnight. So your best bet would probably be to go to Walmart and start looking at the ingredients of products. Find a product that contains Benzoyl Peroxide and then follow the given instructions from there."

Does Zap-It work good on the Acne? Im just about to use a new product for my acne, its called "Zap-It", i was wondering if anyone has ever used the products, and how long before you saw the results?

But I don't know of any amazing way to evict an acne problem overnight (if you find one, let me know!). The best thing to do is learn to like yourself. Nobody will notice your acne near as much if you don't go through life acting like you're super-aware of it. Talk to a dermatologist when you get a chance. There are things they can do (that cost a fortune and take time, but hey) that can help with scars and "live" acne. So if you're willing to go there, it's probably a good idea. Good luck!"

Where can i buy "Zap it!", the Acne product? one of my friends was telling my about the product, ans she said it work really well for her. But i didn't have a chance to ask her where she bought it. How to zap acne? I am in the tenth grade, right around that time when you have frustrating, unexpected acne. My acne isn't severe, but I have quite a bit. I have some red pimples, and a lot of bumps. I've used Proactiv, Clearasil Ultra, etc. I've even seen a doctor about it and he gave me a prescription that did not work. If there is anything I can do, or use certain face washes, cream, etc, feel free to let me know your secrets. I've been thinking about just buying a very gentle facial cleanser such as Cetaphil and wash my face with that, followed by a moustrizer, but I don't know if that would get rid of my acne. It would probably just give me a smooth face. Share your tricks. Thanks. :)

Revolutionista barista replied: "I think most of the products dont really work all that well. The active ingredient for these products is either benzoyl peroxide or salycylic acid. The benzoyl peroxide releases free radicals which kill pretty much anything, kinda like hydrogen peroxide you pour on a cut. the salicylic washes off the top layer of your epidermis. but not much else. If you've got acne cysts, which are acne deep beneath the epidermal layers, you're pretty much stuck with acne for a longgg time. See a dermatologist and he may be able to prescribe you some strong antibiotic soaps. or maybe accutane."

This is a result of excess androgens (male hormones) in your body. I had the same problem (i'm 19) and I tried every product known to man including proactive which only made my skin worse. How to cover up chest acne? My chest acne has cleared up a bit, but it's still very visible. I want to wear a v neck to school tomorrow, and I know I can zap acne away over night, so i'm wondering how I should apply foundation/concealer/ect to fully cover up my chest acne.
